InterDigital Strengthens Executive Team and Promotes Allen Proithis to Executive Vice President

WILMINGTON, Del.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- InterDigital, Inc. (NAS: IDCC) , a wireless research and development company, today announced that Allen Proithis has been appointed Executive Vice President of InterDigital's Solutions Group. Mr. Proithis, who joined InterDigital in March 2012 as Vice President, Business Development and Strategic Solutions, will oversee the development of InterDigital Solutions, the company's technology commercialization and strategic engineering services unit.

Since joining the company, Mr. Proithis has played an integral role in establishing and developing strategic business relationships, including driving forward InterDigital's joint venture with Sony, Convida Wireless. In addition, Mr. Proithis also leads commercialization efforts for market-ready technologies that emerge from InterDigital's internal research unit, Innovation Labs.
