Special Medieval Times knight wasn't a knight at all

We all love heartwarming soldier reunion stories, but this one has a medieval twist. A brother and sister were at a "Medieval Times" show when they met a very special knight.

"The knight on horseback picked the kids for a special reward and the surprise! It turns out to be their dad in shining armor. You've got to love that."

WCBS reports Staff Sergeant Devin Lee hadn't seen his children since Thanksgiving. And his two kids, 10-year-old Troy and 7-year-old Elaina, thought it was the best surprise ever.

TROY LEE: "It made me really happy inside because he was back."

DEVIN LEE: "It was a pretty unbelievable moment, like just seeing their face like when they finally recognize me. It took a couple seconds."

And if seeing their dad again wasn't cool enough - heading to the Medieval Times restaurant is an experience itself. You can even learn how to joust there! We just might have to road trip.

NBC reports it was Lee's sixth deployment in nine years. We're glad he made it home safely.
