'Return To Amish' Premiere: Cast Member's Family Breaks Strict Amish Rule

On the premiere of "Return to Amish," Kate chose to follow her dream of moving to New York City and becoming a model.

The ex-Amish model was excited to find out she booked a job for Fashion Week, but when fellow "Breaking Amish" castmate Abe's mom and sister came to visit, they both broke a strict Amish rule.

"It was just like a million people taking pictures," Abe's mom Mary explained. "Back home it was like against God to have your picture [taken]. I had my picture taken left and right and it made me feel so good."

The two may have broken an Amish rule, but they didn't seem to concerned about it. It seems that Kate's decision to move to New York City has inspired a new way of thinking.

Fans on Twitter were excited for Kate and her big showing at Fashion Week, and others were calling Abe's family sweet for paying Kate a visit in the city, despite Kate leaving the Amish community.

Zap2It notes the 23-year-old model is doing pretty well these days -- she showed some skin in a Maxim spread in the summer of 2013 and says that since then, her modeling career has taken off.
