President Obama paid tribute to several distinguished artists at the National Medal of Arts Ceremony.

"So we not only congratulate you this afternoon, we thank you for an extraordinary lifetime of achievement," President Obama said to the artists.

Choreographers, filmmakers, and singers were all there to accept these lifetime achievement awards.

However, one Grammy Award-winning artist -- Linda Ronstadt -- seemed to get a little extra attention from our nation's leader.

"I told Linda Ronstadt I had a little crush on her back in the day..." the President confessed.

No word on what Ronstadt said in response –- she just offered up a simple smile.
