Cee Lo Green Pleads No Contest In Drugging Case

Musician Cee Lo Green has pleaded no contest to slipping ecstasy into a woman's drink at a Los Angeles restaurant. The 38-year-old avoided jail time Friday by taking a deal that allowed him to deny any wrong doing.

Back in July 2012, Green, whose real name is Thomas DeCarlo Callaway, was accused of dropping ecstasy into a 33-year-old woman's drink. The woman told investigators she woke up in bed naked with the singer. Despite Green apparently acknowledging spiking the unidentified woman's drink in a documented phone call, Green's attorney described any physical contact as "consensual."

By pleading no contest the host of NBC's "The Voice" isn't saying he's guilty, but he's also not saying that he's innocent. He was sentenced to three years formal probation, 360 hours of community service, and was ordered to complete 52 Alcoholic Anonymous or Narcotics Anonymous meetings.

Green will return to court in March for a progress report.
