'Outbreak swag': Hip-hop star Cam'ron selling Ebola masks

Hip-hop star Cam'ron is selling custom Ebola masks online ... despite any proof the lethal virus can be transmitted through the air.

The customized masks are selling for $19.95 each and feature a portrait of the Harlem-raised rapper.

"Wrap it up and protect yourself from Ebola just like Killa Cam!" Says the online product description.

Health officials have repeatedly said that Ebola is not airborne and can only be transmitted through close contact with an infected individual.

But Killa Cam's mask "provides complete protection while remaining light and comfortable."

The mask also features a ridiculous picture of the platinum-selling rapper holding a pink flip phone to his left ear while wearing what appear to be pink bunny ears.

"Ebola is no joking matter," Cam wrote in an Instagram post. "So if u [sic] have to be safe.. Be fashionable."

Reactions online ranged from amusement to head shaking.

One person called him "a goat" in comments to the Instagram post.

Many people called him a fool while one person called the masks "outbreak swag" on Twitter.

One person wisely asked for gloves, "to match the mask," of course.

Preorder your #CamEbolaMask now and it have it in time for the holidays. They ship November 7.
