Cameron Diaz is engaged to Benji Madden

Cameron Diaz is headed toward happily-ever-after!

The "Charlie's Angels" actresses, 42, is engaged to Good Charlotte rocker Benji Madden, multiple entertainment sources report.

Diaz, who has a string of famous exes including Justin Timberlake, Matt Dillon and Alex Rodriguez, has been dating the 35-year-old musician for seven months but she's reportedly ready to make their love official.

"Everyone thinks it's wild but are so happy for them," one source told Us. "Benji always tends to fall in love easily, but this time it's for real and he landed a great girl. They obviously both make each other incredibly happy and there's nothing better than that."

Diaz and Madden can thank his sister-in-law Nicole Richie (who is married to his brother Joel Madden) for their happiness. The reality star set the duo up and said on "Watch What Happens Live!" in July, "I'm going to take responsibility for everything."

Their new engagement isn't a huge surprise. Ring rumors have followed the couple since October of this year when Diaz was spotted out in Hollywood with bling on that very special finger. At the time, reps for both stars denied the reports.

The news of Diaz's engagement is exciting since earlier this year Diaz dished to Marie Claire that she wasn't looking for a husband and tons of kids just because it was expected.

"I'm not looking for a husband or marriage or not not looking for that stuff. I'm living, not thinking what I should or shouldn't be doing with my life," she shared. "If a family happens, then it happens. If children come to me, then I would do that, but I'm not someone who feels like she has to do something because it's expected."
