"Oh my gosh."
"This is so amazing."
"Oh my gosh."

This is the moment Kathy Beitz thought would never happen. A genetic condition caused her to lose almost all of her sight when she was 11.

She was declared legally blind but thanks to new technology the 29-year-old was able to see her newborn son.

"Look at his long toes. He's got Tony's toes. You know what? I think he has my nose. I think he looks like us."

In fact, it was the first time she had ever seen a baby.

The incredible moment was made possible by what's called eSight glasses. It captures images and real-time video and enhances it for people who don't have strong vision.
