Hilary Duff files for divorce

Looks like Aaron Carter might finally get his second chance with Hilary Duff.

The 27-year-old actress filed for divorce from her husband Mike Comrie after almost five years together.

According to TMZ, Hilary has had enough of Mike's party boy ways. Sources close to the couple told the tabloid that "it's NOT a coincidence Duff filed her docs a day after the Daily Mail reported Mike was drunkenly propositioning women at Mastro's steakhouse in Bev Hills."

The two announced their separation in January of last year.

A few months later, Duff's former flame Aaron Carter sent out some bizarre tweets about her saying, "Don't be that stupid douche that loses the love of your life forever.. Like me..." and "I'll spend the rest of my life trying to better myself to get back to her. I don't care what any of you think."

But she wasn't impressed with his romantic pleas. And, even though she was separated from her hubby, the couple told People Mag they remained very close and dedicated to raising their son Luca together.

But that all seems to have fallen through. Hilary is reportedly seeking primary custody of their now 3-year-old son.
