'Facebook fugitive' comments on his own wanted photo

Updated

BUTLER COUNTY, Ohio (PIX11) -- An Ohio man who brazenly commented on a sheriff's office Facebook post of his wanted photo now has a new tearful social media head shot reading "captured," following his recent arrest.

Andrew Dale Marcum, 21, was wanted on charges including burglary/safe-cracking, abduction, assault and domestic violence, among others, for crimes in three townships. After the sheriff's office posted his photo asking the public for tips, Marcum himself decided to comment on the post, saying "I ain't trippin' half of them don't even know me."

The Butler County Sheriff's Office wrote back, "If you could stop by the Sheriff's Office, that'd be great. Hey, it doesn't hurt to ask."

It's not clear if Marcum is on Twitter, but if he was, he might have seen Butler County Sheriff Richard Jones' tweet telling the fugitive Facebook user his room was ready.
