Expecting parents host gender reveal party, but share an even bigger surprise
When a couple expecting their first child invited family and friend to their party where they would reveal the gender of their baby, they had a much bigger surprise in store, that they were having triplets.

Desiree and Ryan Fortin had been trying to have a baby for years, but like many couples, struggled with infertility.
She told INSIDE EDITION, "We have documented a lot of our journey. It has been one of the most therapeutic parts of our journey being able to express my raw and authentic emotions and feelings along the way. It made me feel like I wasn't alone as I have been able to reach out and connect with other women with the same struggles."
They finally found success through In Vitro Fertilization. They told everyone they were expecting twins, and shocked the crowd with news of a third baby on the way.
"When we found out we were pregnant with triplets it was absolutely amazing. We were shocked and overwhelmed with the greatest joy. Our story has been one of hope and it has been amazing to watch it unfold with a triple portion of blessings! We were elated to finally be able to surprise everyone with such special and exciting news in such a unique way," said Desiree.

She explained, "After years of heartache and lots of tears we finally fell pregnant through IVF and received the surprise of our lives: TRIPLETS!!! We told EVERYONE we were having twins and at our Gender Reveal Party we surprised them all with our bonus baby!!! It was our best-kept secret. We couldn't be happier and cannot wait to meet our trio!!!"
