It's the moment "19 Kids and Counting" fans have been anxiously waiting to see for weeks - the birth of Jill and Derick Dillard's first child.

"Here he comes! Here he is!" said the doctors on "19 Kids and Counting."

"Hi! Israel! I love you! You're so cute, you're not ugly!" said Jill Dillard.

Israel David Dillard was born on April 6 at 11:48 p.m. But Jill and her family endured quite the journey before they finally got to meet the newest little Duggar.

As we saw during the two-hour special, Jill's water finally broke 11 days past her due date in the wee hours of the morning.

She and Derick had planned on having a home birth. But 48 hours into labor, Jill, who's a midwife herself, noticed her baby was in fetal distress.

From there, she was moved to the hospital. And about 60 hours into labor, doctors informed Jill she would need a C-section to get little Israel out.

But even though she endured nearly 70 hours of pain and uncertainty, Jill couldn't have been happier to welcome her baby boy into the world.

"We're so excited to announce the birth of our son, Israel David Dillard."

The proud new mom is still just as smitten with Israel as she was on day one, and so is Derick.

Jill told People Monday, "There are a lot of things that seem different than I thought they would be. ... He is doing an amazing job helping out with nighttime diaper changes."

And we're sure the rest of the Duggar clan has been eager to help out with the new baby as well.
