Papa John's is spending big bucks on better ingredients for better pizza.The popular chain expected to spend some $100M every year eliminating artificial ingredients from its menu.
It's currently focusing on 14 ingredients that will be banished by the end of next year.
And they're doing it for the kids!

CEO John Schnatter told Bloomberg News the change is designed to appeal to families with kids. Papa John's says they understand parents want their kids to eat balanced meals.

Papa John's joins a long list of restaurants cleaning up its menu.

Taco Bell announced last month that it will kick out unnatural ingredients.

Chipotle has already eliminated genetically modified organisms (GMOs) from ingredients.

And Pizza Hut is planning to remove artificial colors and flavors from its "nationally available" pizzas by the end of July.
