After last year's video shot by a drone flying through fireworks went viral, people are getting ready to pilot their very expensive toys during this year's 4th of July pyrotechnical shows.

Some whole cities like Washington D.C. have been declared a "no drone zone" by the FAA and some police departmentsaround the country are outlawing the practice as well.

According to Wired:

"If drones aren't entirely banned in an area and state or local governments are simply regulating their use, then the location you launch them from is what's being outlawed—however, if you are outside that designated area and fly your drone toward the fireworks, well then... technically, that's OK."

Be safe and don't make your drone explode.
