Williams met Skrip, a Buffalo native, in Egypt in 2013. The couple became engaged last fall after being together for about year. She announced the engagement on The Queen Latifah Show, after the Queen made a joke about being "blinded" by Williams' bling. The 52-year-old actress and singer -- whose signature tune has always been "Save The Best For Last" -- told the host she felt she had been given "a lot of blessings."

This is the third marriage for the Ugly Betty star. She was previously married to movie producer Ramon Hervey and former NBA star Rick Fox and has four children between her two exes: Melanie, Jillian and Devin, who are all in their twenties, with Ramon, and 15-year-old daughter Sasha with Rick.

Nuptials aside, Williams is also very busy with her career. In 2014, she starred opposite Cicely Tyson and Blair Underwood in the touring revival of The Trip To Bountiful, while this year she appeared in the USA Network show Royal Pains and had a guest spot on The Mindy Project.
