LAX police search for missing Special Olympics athlete
(KTLA) -- LAX police were searching Monday for a missing Special Olympics athlete last seen near the Delta ticketing area, according to airport police.
The missing person was described as black man who spoke French, was between 16 and 20 years old, and stood about 5 feet 8 inches tall.
He was last seen near the Delta ticketing area around 6:30 a.m. wearing a shirt that said "Special Olympics" on it and black pants.
The man's name was not released, nor the nation he competed for.

Police stated the man was missing hours after locating a second missing athlete who participated in the 2015 Special Olympics World Games.
