Ronda Rousey going to Marine Corps Ball!

In August, United States Marine Jarrod Haschert took to Facebook in a video, asking UFC fighter Ronda Rousey to his Marine Corps Ball on Dec. 11. Haschert comes across as a genuinely nice guy in the video and since he is serving this great country, it was bound to get plenty of warranted attention. The 22-year-old Haschert is stationed in North Carolina, and is hoping to get a dream date, per SB Nation Lookit.

On Tuesday, Rousey was seen outside of a supermarket with some of her friends by TMZ's cameras, who approached her in the parking lot. The cameraman asked Rousey whether she had heard about the request. Rousey said she had, and then stated that provided the Marine was a gentleman, she was in for the Ball!!

This is awesome. Rousey could have dodged going to this in a million different ways. She's obviously one of the biggest stars in America right now and has a packed schedule, so a day or two to simply relax has to be incredibly appealing. Yet, Rousey is going to take some time and go on a date with a man who helps to protect the country. Fantastic.

Rousey also stated that she is hoping he can snag some dates for her friends. Can you imagine being this man at the moment? You are a national story, you have Rousey for a date, and you might be able to hook some friends up with dates.
