Miranda Lambert asks 'nobody pick a side' in Blake Shelton divorce

Leave it to country powerhouse Miranda Lambert to confidently take the cover of Cosmopolitan in the midst of heartbreak. In her interview, Lambert kept it real.

"We are real people with real lives and real shit," Lambert told Cosmo. "We're both very honest. This is what it is now, and we're moving forward. We don't need all the opinions. We just need y'all to be supportive, and nobody pick a side -- because there ain't a side."

Ex-husband Blake Shelton is already dating Voice co-star Gwen Stefani. Lambert herself is putting another relationship on the back burner, but that doesn't mean she'll skip out on flying high solo.

"I feel the sexiest when I'm in my element, which is playing music," she told Cosmo. "It doesn't really matter what I'm wearing necessarily or where I'm at, just on stage with my band playing music is sort of where I feel like I belong and that makes me feel sexy."
