This little girl might just be the youngest backpacker ever thanks to her travel enthusiast parents.

Karen Edwards was in the middle of her one year of maternity leave when she and her fiance Shaun decided to go on the adventure of a lifetime with their 10-month-old baby daughter, Esmé.

The trio went on a seven-week trip through Southeast Asia with only one backpack between them.

"Friends thought it was great, family were a little concerned," Karen told INSIDE EDITION.

At 17 months, Esmé has already been to 11 countries including, Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Bali and Vietnam.

Karen, who is a nurse, was already a travel enthusiast before she had her daughter and has been to more than 50 countries on her own. The mom blogs about traveling with an infant on her website and shares updates on her Instagram.

The family is already on their next adventure, a three week trip to Thailand, Cambodia and New Zealand.
