Tucker Carlson books Caitlyn Jenner for first post-O'Reilly show

Tucker Carlson has his first guest for Fox News Channel's Tucker Carlson Tonight show to fill the 8 p.m. hour vacated by Bill O'Reilly after his exit from the cable news channel.

Carlson will interview Caitlyn Jenner, the former Olympic gold medalist and author on Monday, April 24. Jenner is expected to touch on President Trump's administration and the current political climate and divide in America, Fox News said in a statement on Friday.

A post-transition Jenner did an earlier high-profile interview for Diane Sawyer and 20/20.

Carlson has had another time slot change since his show debuted on Fox News in the 7 p.m. slot previously occupied by Greta van Susteren, who is now at MSNBC. Carlson more recently saw his talk show move from 9 p.m. to the 8 p.m. slot.

Carlson's show airs live from the network's Washington, D.C. bureau.
