Matt Lauer's wife boots him from their Hamptons home: Where he's staying now

Enough's enough for Annette Roque.

Matt Lauer's wife has officially booted from their Hamptons estate, Page Six reports. Although Lauer owns multiple properties, this particular home is where Roque and their children spend most of their time.

Lauer is now settling into another Hamptons home -- in addition to his $36 million compound in North Haven, he also has a place in Sag Harbor and a 40-acre horse farm in Water Mill. For those unfamiliar with Long Island, all of these towns are within a 10-mile radius of each other.

Remaining with Roque are the ex-couple's younger children, son Thijs and daughter Romy. Older son Jack, 16, reportedly attends a prep school elsewhere.

While working in Manhattan, Lauer reportedly spent most nights at his Park Avenue apartment. But in the months since his termination, he's stayed away from the city, exclusively spending his time out in the Hamptons.

It was long known that Lauer and Roque had something of a nontraditional marriage: They lived separately, rarely making shared public appearances, and rumors of various affairs have dogged Lauer for years.

Lauer was axed from NBC in November 2017 after more than two decades anchoring the "Today" show. Details of his alleged sexual misconduct and harassment are still unfolding, but the show has powered forward with new co-anchors Savannah Guthrie and Hoda Kotb.
