Born in Cleveland, Ohio, Berry first came on the scene in the '90s, snagging small roles in TV shows such as A Different World, Amen,Living Dolls and more. Her star steadily continued to rise as she found herself in classic films such as Boomerang, Losing Isaiah, Introducing Dorothy Dandridge, Why Do Fools Fall in Love andB*A*P*S, before becoming a bonafide blockbuster magnate with films such as Monster's Ball, for which she won an Academy Award, Swordfish, Their Eyes Were Watching God and more.

In the years since her monumental Oscar win, Berry has continued working but also found the ultimate joy in being a mother to her two kids — daughter Nahla Ariela Aubry, 16, and son Maceo-Robert Martinez, 9.
