30-assist games and more; Vote for the Cape Girls Volleyball Player of the Week
Welcome to our latest Cape Cod and Islands High School Player of the Week Poll.
High school sports fans can vote for which girls volleyball players they think were standouts during the previous week.
The polls will be open from Thursday through Wednesday. The winners will be announced every Thursday along with the new poll. Votes are unlimited.

Votes must be cast via the Cape Cod Times website/mobile sites. Votes submitted via email and social media will NOT be accepted. To vote for this week’s Player of the Week, scroll down on this page.
Last week's winner
Vivian Castano, Dennis-Yarmouth
In a very close race, Castano edged out the rest of the competition with 15% of he votes. The senior captain captured and passed the school record in assists (previously 2,123) with 20 assists in a loss to Darmouth.
This week's candidates
Zlata Alioshka, St. John Paul II
Alioshka finished with seven aces, one kill, 15 assists, and 23 digs in a 3-1 win over Monomoy.
Megan Bird, Cape Tech
Bird had 10 tip kills and nine aces in a 3-1 win over Cape Cod Academy.
Vivian Castano, Dennis-Yarmouth
Castano recorded recorded 35 assists and 20 digs in a 3-2 victory over Old Rochester.
Emma Davis, Cape Cod Academy
Davis had 11 aces, four kills and two blocks in a 3-0 win over Rising Tide.
Mariah Eaton, Dennis-Yarmouth
Eaton had 20 kills, nine digs and made 33 service receptions in a win over Old Rochester.
Christina Femino, Falmouth
Femino dished out 32 assists and added three aces in a 3-1 win over Nantucket.
Teagan Geraghty, Barnstable
Geraghty had a match-high 25 assists in a 3-0 victory over Dennis-Yarmouth.
Brodie Gerlach, Sturgis West
Gerlach finished with 15 kills, six solo blocks, and seven aces in a 3-2 win over Nauset.
Molly Gleason, Barnstable
Gleason led the offense with 12 kills in win over D-Y.
Sofia Halunen, Bourne
Halunen was good offensively with 11 kills and hitting .450 in a 3-0 win over Somerset Berkley.
Maia Ledwell, Falmouth
Ledwell had 15 digs and six aces in a loss to Bridgewater-Raynham.
Isabel Linnell, St. John Paul II
Linnell had seven aces, four kills and 17 digs in a win over Sturgis East.
Caitlin McGrail, St. John Paul II
McGrail ended with four aces, three kills and 17 digs in a four-set win over Monomoy.
Lily Miller, Sturgis West
Miller finished with 25 assists and six aces in a win over Nauset.
Avery Morrell, Bourne
Morrell had 11 aces and 15 service points in the first set in a 3-0 win over Apponequet.
Mayla Muldoon, Bourne
Muldoon’s 21 assists helped the Canalmen to a win over Somerset Berkley.
Lily Russell, Bourne
Russell contributed 16 aces, 16 digs as the Canalmen beat St. John Paul II 3-1.
Irelynn Shenk, Dennis-Yarmouth
Shenk had 24 digs as the Dolphins beat Old Rochester in five sets.
