Chatman said that if you’re trying to save money on things like cleaning supplies or laundry detergent, you should consider purchasing non-name-brand products from Dollar Tree.
“Often the chemical makeup between name-brand and non-name-brand products are similar, with the main difference being marketing,” she explained.
Look for cleaning products emblazoned with Dollar Tree’s brand LA’s Totally Awesome. You’ll find lemon-scented bleach, glass and multisurface cleaner with vinegar, prewash stain remover spray, lavender-scented floor cleaner, all-purpose cleaner with bleach, and deep penetrating mold and mildew stain remover.
You Can Pick Up Cheap Toys and Games
“You can find great toys, games and puzzles for your children for cheap at Dollar Tree,” Chatman said.”If your child doesn’t care for a particular brand, you can save some money on items that are overpriced at major retailers.”
If you’re in the habit of rewarding your child from time to time, the toys, games and puzzles are much cheaper than what you’ll find lining the aisles of Target and Walmart. For starters, you can find a variety of Hot Wheels toy cars and trucks, including Monster Trucks.
You’ll also find action figures and figurines galore — especially when it comes to Disney, including “Monsters, Inc.,” “Finding Nemo” and “Incredibles.” Dollar Tree also carries Nickelodeon “Paw Patrol” figurines.
