Adrián Beltré to be joined by Texas Rangers icons to throw first pitch of all-star game

Texas Rangers legend and member of the 2024 MLB Hall of Fame Class Adrián Beltré will throw out the first pitch of the 2024 MLB All-Star Game flanked by other Ranger greats.

Beltré will be joined by Nolan Ryan, Iván Rodríguez and Fergie Jenkins, all members of the National Baseball Hall Of Fame.

Beltré, a first-ballot Hall Of Famer, will be inducted in Cooperstown on July 21 when he will become the 10th Rangers player to receive the honor.

The third baseman hit a career .286 average with 3,166 hits, 477 home runs and 1,707 RBIs over a 21-year career, eight of which came with the Rangers.

Ryan played the last five years of his career with the Rangers and later was a part of the ownership group that bought the Rangers in 2010. He held positions as both CEO and President of the organization.

Ryan went 51-39 in his Rangers career with a 3.43 ERA.

He left the team in the 2013 season before joining the Houston Astros organization for six seasons beginning in 2014.

Rodríguez was an ambassador for the franchise during the 2024 MLB All-Star week and spent 13 seasons with the team including the 1999 season when he won MVP.

Jenkins played six years with the Rangers from 1974-75 and 1978-81 with a record of 93-72 with a 3.56 ERA.

The MLB All-Star Game will take place at 7 p.m. on Tuesday at Globe Life Field and will air on FOX.
