The Traitors had a big night at the 2024 Emmys!

The Peacock reality show won its first-ever Emmy in the outstanding reality competition program category, and host Alan Cumming — who collected his first-ever win for hosting the show at last week's Creative Arts Emmys — delivered a heartfelt speech and shouted out his native Scotland for being the perfect backdrop to the psychological reality competition series.

"We are so grateful because we are a new show — and you guys, you know when you like something, you tend to stick to it, which is a good quality — but we appreciate it all the more," Cumming, 59, said as he began his acceptance speech on behalf of the series.

He also shouted out Peacock, thanking them for their "kindness and support," as well as the cast and crew "who work so hard and get so wet by the Scottish weather."

"I also want to thank Scotland, I owe it everything and it's such a beautiful costar," Cumming continued, before giving another European country a shoutout.

"I also want to thank Holland, because I don't think we thank Holland enough, because so many of these shows, like The Traitors, were first made up in Holland, and they obviously have something in the water, so let's find it, let's drink it and all of America's problems will be solved."
