Alliance students cool off at Funtimes

Alliance Early Learning School summer school students got a chance to cool off Thursday at Funtimes Fun Park in Lexington Township. The students enjoyed the chance to play in the sand and in the water at different areas at the State Street NE amusement park. The students originally were scheduled to have a special visit to the school Wednesday, but heavy rain forecasts canceled a visit by Alliance Fire Department, which was to douse the students with water from the hoses on the firetrucks.
