Hi, my name is Nash. The name Nash is of English origin and means “by the ash tree” which I guess is appropriate for a dog.

I consider myself to be very handsome for a 2-year-old terrier mix. I have a lot of energy and can probably wear you out – at least enough to nap with me in the afternoon.

This is my second stint at Heartland. I was adopted from Heartland as a puppy but recently returned. I loved my family very much and I felt it was my duty to protect them from people that I didn’t know. My “kids” began to bring their friends over and I wasn’t always sure who was friend or foe so my family decided that I should be returned to Heartland so a better suited family could be found. I would probably do better in a home where they understand me, want to play ball with me and perhaps have a quieter lifestyle with less coming and going of strangers.

I am up to date on my vaccinations, neutered and have been microchipped. I’m really a good dog and would make a great companion – just call Heartland and schedule a time to come out and meet me.
