What are the three issues that you see as most important to your district and what will you do to address them?

I see education choices as a major concern and intend to bring school vouchers to every parent. Taxes can always be reduced and I intend to reduce taxes. There are always too many regulations and I intend to reduce regulations.

At a time when costs are rising, state government has a surplus. How should it be used?

We should always keep plenty in reserve for a rainy day.

Will you vote for Medicaid expansion in North Carolina?

No.

What has the legislature gotten right, and what has it gotten wrong, about public education in North Carolina?

We give low-income parents money for private schools which is helping their education. We do not reward the best teachers enough to attract the best teachers to North Carolina.

Should North Carolina change its abortion laws? How?

There should be a ban on abortion, with no exceptions.

What, if anything, should the legislature do to shape curriculum dealing with topics of race, sexuality and gender?

We should have school vouchers so that parents who choose to do so can send their children to Christian schools where proper morals are taught.
