Anna Nicole Smith's daughter marks 18th birthday with a spooky celebration in new pics

Anna Nicole Smith and Larry Birkhead’s daughter, Dannielynn, reached another milestone birthday!

Dannielynn celebrated her 18th birthday on Saturday, Sept. 7.

Spooky season came a month early for the occasion, with the teenager choosing to celebrate with friends and family at the Beetlejuice Afterlife Experience in California, followed by a trip to see “Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, according to her dad.

Birkhead shared several photos from his daughter’s birthday on Instagram, capturing Dannielynn posing in front of the beach donning a black gown with bell sleeves and a spiderweb detail on the fabric.

Other snaps included Dannielynn taking a picture with an actor portraying Beetlejuice, as well as several photos of her getting her makeup done, black lipstick and all.

“Dannielynn had a great time celebrating her 18th birthday with friends and family by attending the @beetlejuiceafterlife.exp and @beetlejuicemovie which made for an out of this world experience,” Birkhead wrote in the caption.

He shared more details about her ensemble for the occasion, adding, “Of course, Dannielynn found a Hot Topic store to get a spooky outfit for all the fun ! Happy 18th Birthday Dannielynn !”

Earlier in the day, Birkhead shared another post on Instagram, posting a video montage of the father-daughter duo throughout the years, with plenty of childhood shots.

“Happy 18th Birthday Dannielynn! You are my entire heart. I love you more than I can ever express,” he wrote in the caption. “May you continue on your journey being ‘humble and kind’ and spread the love that you were given to many others.”

He continued his sweet message, writing, “I am beyond proud of you. Happy 18th Birthday ❤️ Love, Dad.”

Birkhead also added the hashtags, #imnotcryingyourecrying and #happybirthday to complete the post.

Smith welcomed Dannielynn in September 2006. Their daughter was only 5 months old when the model and actor died in February 2007 at age 39 due to an accidental overdose.

Birkhead raised Dannielynn as a single father and has given fans a glimpse at his daughter’s life through social media over the years, including their annual tradition of attending the Kentucky Derby together.

The father-daughter duo have also attended concerts together, including a June 2023 Duran Duran show, and spent quality time at Disney World in January 2024.

In the weeks leading up to Dannielynn’s 18th birthday, Birkhead took his daughter to Power Morphicon where she got to meet some of her favorite actors.

He shared several photos on Instagram capturing his daughter’s creative cosplay costumes and special moments posing with the actors at the convention.

“This is the first stop and pre-celebration for Dannielynn’s upcoming birthday celebration! The countdown begins now!” he wrote at the time, before teasing a possible future trip. “Next up Japan…….”
