Ivanka Trump's vacation photo with Putin's rumored girlfriend raises eyebrows

Ivanka Trump has long been friends with Wendi Deng, the former wife of media billionaire Rupert Murdoch.

However, a picture of the two women enjoying a vacation in Croatia is drawing attention due to Deng's more recent rumored love interest.

While none of the chatter has been substantiated, Deng has been said to be romantically involved with Vladimir Putin, notes Vanity Fair.

Throw in the fact that Ivanka is the daughter of presidential candidate Donald Trump, and what you have is a situation rife for speculation.

As such, the photo has spurred many to question how close Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin truly are, and how that perhaps clandestine yet close bond is playing into their politics.

Or, it's just a picture of two pals hanging out. Either way.
