Meghan Markle spotted with gold ring that Prince Harry reportedly gave her

Updated

There's something about Meghan Markle's jewelry that just gets people talking. And it's no wonder why.

Back in February, the internet wondered whether or not the "Suits" actress was wearing an "H" ring as a nod to her royal boyfriend (she wasn't), and the debate actually sparked a surge in sales for the brand who designed the ring in question (oh hello, The Meghan Markle Effect). In April, however, she was spotted wearing an "H" ring -- and everyone, of course, took notice.

Now, hawk-eyes are buzzing about the gold ring on her thumb that may or may not be an engagement ring (read: it's not).

Have a look:

While the subtle piece of jewelry doesn't mean a proposal happened, it is supposedly a gift from Prince Harry -- and Markle's co-stars say she only takes the precious ring off to film her scenes as Rachel Zane on "Suits." How cute!

As Brides notes, this is one of many baubles the prince has reportedly gifted his sweetheart, including a Cartier Love bracelet and a Maya Brenner necklace engraved with the initials "H" and "M."

Now, if the semi-permanent Cartier Love bracelet isn't enough of a sign that these two are in it for the long haul (the thing apparently does not come off easily), there's more. Shortly before the pair attended Pippa Middleton's wedding reception together on May 20, rumor had it that Harry received permission from his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, to propose to his lady love.

We hear wedding bells -- even if they're a little faint right now.
