'Adrenaline junkie' films herself walking on airplane wings

Kirsten Pobjoy is a self-described "adrenaline junkie" who films herself performing incredible stunts hundreds of feet in the air on airplane wings.

"Wing walking fulfills my thrill-seeking side," the 22-year-old is quoted as saying in the Press Association video above.

When Pobjoy was 14, she started attending the performing arts school, School of Larks, which specializes in circus training.

Wing walking started becoming popular around the 1920s and involves walking or moving along the wings of a flying airplane. Walkers do not wear parachutes for safety reasons but typically will have a harness and cable on during certain movements — which Pobjoy is seen wearing in the video.

It's definitely not for the faint of heart, but Pobjoy can't imagine having another career.

"I'm still just as excited as the first time I took a flight."
