Aubrey Plaza Says She Would've Avoided Her Revealing 2023 SAG Awards Dress 'If I Had Giant Knockers'

"I didn't think that dress specifically was like, 'Woo. Check it out. I'm gonna really make a splash here with this underboob,' " said Plaza

Aubrey Plaza was comfortable wearing a sexy, skin-bearing dress to the 2023 SAG Awards for one reason — her breasts.

The actress, 40, attended the event in a memorable bronze sequin Michael Kors gown featuring a front-center cutout and a crisscross neckline that showed off her toned midriff. The look was paired with Mouawad jewelry and metallic Jimmy Choo sandal heels.

Although eye-catching, Plaza shared during a Wednesday, Sept. 11, appearance on Sirius XM’s Howard Stern Showthat she didn't think about it "so much."

"They just gave me that dress, and I put it on. I wasn't really thinking about it so much. I swear to God," said The White Lotus star.

After host Howard Stern asked, "You don't look in the mirror and go,' You know, a little bit of my boob is hanging out on the bottom. Maybe I don't want to do that?' " Plaza said she doesn't see it as an issue because of the size of her breasts.

"My boobs aren't really like... If I had giant knockers, maybe I'd be like, 'Whoa. I gotta keep these things...,' " Plaza began.

While Stern said she looked "really hot," Plaza said she didn't understand why people were buzzing about it online.

"Is this different from any other dress I wear?" she recalled wondering. "I didn't think that dress specifically was like, 'Woo. Check it out. I'm gonna really make a splash here with this underboob. ' "

Shortly after the February 2023 event, Jessica Paster, who styled Plaza, defended the dress, responding to a fan on Instagram, "Did 7 fittings .. for real … I wanted underboob 😍."

During her radio show appearance, Plaza also spoke about her role in the upcoming Francis Ford Coppola film Megalopolis.

“I thought, 'How am I on his radar?' And then I never thought I would actually get that part," she recalled. "I was like, 'Well, I'll do the meeting, of course,' but I didn't think I was going to get the part, and I was actually shocked when I got it."

Megalopolis opens on Sept. 27. Plaza also stars in My Old Ass, which hits theaters on Sept. 13.
