Ayo Edebiri Stamps Her Style Passport With a Luxe Travel-Inspired Look

Ayo Edebiri is a rising fashion darling.
Since starting the promotion for her new film Inside Out 2, the actor has stepped up her style game—and her latest look might have just taken her from rookie to pro. On Monday, Edebiri switched out her usual laid-back style for a Bottega Veneta gown, for an appearance on Late Night With Seth Meyers.
The ensemble, from the label’s Fall 2024 collection, was covered in a unique red-and-black stamp print. A high-neck cowl neckline made way for a subtle cape, while the skirt of the dress was ruched on one side and divided into three large ruffles on the other. Edebiri paired the gown with strappy black patent leather heels and black Bolt sunglasses, also from Bottega Veneta.
To complement the high neckline of the dress, the Bear star wore her black hair up in a slicked-back curly updo. She kept her accessories minimal, so as not to overwhelm her patterned look, opting solely for a few silver ear cuffs. The simple styling, courtesy of stylist Danielle Goldberg, made the Emmy and Golden Globe winner look nothing short of fabulous.
Edebiri has been switching up her look as of late, trading in her old red-carpet attire for high-fashion versions from Dries Van Noten and Loewe. Just last week, she wore a different Bottega Veneta ensemble, channeling ’50s fashion in a teal three-piece suit that included capri pants. And for her first-ever Met Gala last month, the actor wore a backless floral lace dress by Loewe, proving she could pull off a daring (and on-theme) look just as well as veterans of the museum steps. It seems that, in keeping with her budding Hollywood career, Edebiri is beginning her fashion reign as well.
