Baby formula got recalled from CVS in Florida and 11 other states as well as H-E-B stores
The latest infant formula recall hits the store brands of nation’s seventh largest grocer and one of the two largest national pharmacy chains.
Perrigo Company, which makes H-E-B Premium Infant Formula with Iron Milk-Based Powder and CVS Health Premium Infant Formula with Iron Milk-Based Powder, yanked 16,500 cans of formula because they have Vitamin D above the maximum allowed levels.
“For the vast majority of infants, short-term consumption of the affected lot codes is unlikely to cause adverse health implications,” Perrigo’s FDA-posted recall notice states. “In a small subset of physiologically vulnerable infants (e.g., impaired renal function), there is the potential that consumption of the recalled product could result in health complications.”
The H-E-B formula sent to the Texas’ dominant supermarket chain on Feb. 2 had lot Nos. T11LMXC, with a use by date of Nov. 11, 2025; and T09LMXC, with a use by date of Nov. 9, 2025.

The formula sold under the CVS Health brand came from lot No. T11MYC, use by Nov. 11, 2025, and went to stores in Florida, California, Texas, Missouri, South Carolina, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Indiana, Tennessee, New Jersey, Michigan and Rhode Island.
Return the formula to the store for a full refund.
