Benny Blanco's Favorite Thing About Selena Gomez Will Make You Believe in Love Again

To be loved is to be seen.

Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco simply cannot stop making out or gushing over one another, and every time they do, they give the world a reason to believe in love again (and speculate about whether they're headed toward marriage). The latest revelation about the couple—Blanco's favorite thing about Gomez—is bound to elicit the same response.

Although there is undoubtedly a never-ending list of things to choose from—Gomez's smile, brown doe eyes, catchy voice, acting chops, enviable style, etc.—the feature that continues to capture the music producer's heart time and time again is a little birthmark on her face. The Only Murders in the Building star revealed the sweet little detail during a back-to-school themed virtual chat for Rare Beauty on September 4.

"I never really cover it up," Gomez said. "I don't know if anyone's noticed it before, but it's right on my eyebrow. Sometimes, I'll use concealer to cover it up. Sometimes, I won't. It's actually my boyfriend's favorite thing about me."

The "Love On" singer also shared that she feels "prettiest" when she's not wearing makeup.

"When I am everyday me, I'm not wearing that much, because I do feel really beautiful sometimes and I just don't want to focus too much on it," she continued. "And my job entails a lot of [makeup.]"

In addition to sharing when she feels the most beautiful, Gomez also revealed when she feels the most grounded. Once again shouting out Blanco, the multi-hyphenate said she finds peace in cooking with her man.

"I love fresh foods and stuff. I'm starting to get into that kind of because of my boyfriend," she said of Blanco, who authored the cookbook Open Wide: A Cookbook for Friends. "Just being in the garden and picking food that I'm going to be able to cook with. It sounds so silly and minuscule but the older you get the more that you realize that it's okay to just be simple and have simplicity."

Gomez's surprisingly normal hobby has turned into a bit of a love language for her. She said her and Blanco's favorite thing to do together is cook for their loved ones; most recently, they whipped up a batch of tamales to give to their friends.

Gomez first confirmed they were an item in December 2023 with a series of Instagram comments and a set of steamy kissing photos, though it was later revealed they had been dating six months before the official reveal.
