Big day for seniors: Here's a recap of graduation ceremonies from around Gardner area
The graduates have suffered through their last set of final exams, turned in the last of their books and computers, and celebrated with friends at the prom and a variety of senior events designed to create memories and mark this important transition in their lives.
For the Class of 2024, the graduation ceremony marked the last time the class was together before the graduates went their separate ways, whether that be work, college or the military.
Below is when Greater Gardner high schools, as well as Mount Wachusett Community College, held their events:
Mount Wachusett Community College’s commencement took place on Wednesday, May 15 at Mount Fitness. Lt. Gov. Kim Driscoll was the commencement speaker.
Graduation ceremonies were held at Monty Tech on Wednesday, May 22 on the high school athletic field.
Graduation ceremonies at Oakmont Regional High School, Narragansett Regional High School and Quabbin Regional High School were held on Friday, May 31.
Commencement exercises at Gardner High School took place on Saturday, June 1 at Watkins Field.
Commencement exercises at Murdock High School took place on Sunday, June 2 in the Murdock High School gymnasium.
