Blake Lively Playfully Called Colleen Hoover Out on Her Favorite ‘It Ends With Us’ Character

Blake Lively is finally returning to the big screen with the highly anticipated film adaptation of BookTok’s favorite read, It Ends With Us. (Yes, she technically voiced Ladypool in her husband Ryan Reynolds’ movie, Deadpool vs. Wolverine, but we actually get to see her face this time!) Leading lady Blake plays Lily Bloom, who overcomes her traumatic upbringing to start fresh and chase a lifelong dream of opening her own flower shop. Sparks fly when she meets Ryle Kincaid (played by fellow hot person/actor/director Justin Baldoni, FYI), and their connection seems to be as intense as her parents’ rocky relationship during her childhood.
To celebrate the release of her new movie—which officially hits theaters on August 9 (not that we’re counting down or anything 😅)—Blake gathered in her real-life living room with Colleen Hoover and her costars Jenny Slate and Isabela Ferrer for the ultimate girl talk sesh.
They chatted about everything from dream jobs to which extra body parts they would theoretically want. Colleen admitted she’d love to have three arms to make her writing process quicker, Jenny said having a pair of “cute ears” or working wings would be sick, and Blake hilariously confused Isabela by saying she’d want a cookie on her shoulder.
