It Ends With Us continues to wow at the box office.

The romantic drama, a Colleen Hoover adaptation starring Blake Lively, debuted last weekend with a better-than-expected $50 million opening at the domestic box office. This past weekend, it's second weekend, it added an estimated $24 million domestically, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Additionally, Variety reported that It Ends With Us now has a global box office total of over $180 million since its release, adding that the film was made on a budget of about $25 million.

Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman's superhero sequel Deadpool & Wolverine (now the highest grossing R-rated film of all time) came just ahead of It Ends With Us this past weekend, as did new release Alien: Romulus, which opened to $41.5 million, the outlets reported.

It Ends With Us' box-office milestone comes amid reports of friction between director-star Justin Baldoni and the rest of the primary cast, including Lively, 36, who is also a producer.

Despite facing off at the box office, both Lively and husband Reynolds, 47, have been closely involved in and supportive of one another's projects.

For the Gossip Girl alum, that support included a cameo in Deadpool & Wolverine as Lady Deadpool (and red catsuit on the red carpet at the premiere) and various praise-heavy posts on social media, addressed to her husband of nearly 12 years.

Reynolds, meanwhile, jokingly grilled his wife'sIt Ends With Us love interest, Brandon Sklenar, in a purposely awkward interview, and even contributed writing to a scene in the movie, according to Lively.

"The iconic rooftop scene, my husband actually wrote it. Nobody knows that but you now," she told E! News at the premiere in New York City on Aug. 6.

She added, "We help each other. He works on everything I do; I work on everything he does. So his wins, his celebrations are mine and mine are his."

Reynolds, who shares four children with Lively, also recently heaped praise on his wife for her newest beauty venture: her haircare line Blake Brown.

"I’m obscenely proud of this woman," Reynolds wrote on his Instagram Stories Aug. 1. "She’s been working on @blakebrownbeauty for 7 years."

"And the result is exactly what you’d expect from a hyper-obsessive, detail addicted, uncompromising quality control genius," he teased.

At the end, Reynolds joked, “Also, I just found out her last name is Brown” (the name of Lively’s hair brand is a tribute to her father, Ernie, whose surname was Brown until he married her mom, Elaine Lively, and took her last name).
