Bourbon & Beyond saw record-breaking crowds. Here's how many people attended the festival

Bourbon & Beyond lived up to its brand as the "World's Largest Music and Bourbon Festival." Festival organizers reported more than 200,000 fans from all over the world attended the four-day music festival in Louisville.

The four-day festival, which was held Sept. 19-22 at the Highland Festival Grounds, 937 Phillips Lane, and featured headliners Sting, Dave Matthews Band, Zach Bryan, and Tyler Childers, drew 210,000 to Louisville for the sixth Bourbon & Beyond Festival, according to organizers.

That total is more than 70,000 more than the previous year when Bourbon & Beyond organizers announced more than 140,000 people had attended the festival.

Danny Wimmer Presents, the company that produces Bourbon & Beyond, said Saturday's lineup, which included headliner Zach Bryan plus Cody Jinks, Whiskey Myers, and Young the Giant, was the largest of the four days in 2024. An estimated 60,000 fans came through the gates that day.

Like Louisville's other mega event, the Kentucky Derby, which drew nearly 157,000 people for single-day attendance on May 4, 2024, for the 150th Kentucky Derby, Bourbon & Beyond and the upcoming Louder Than Life festival, which will be held Thursday through Sunday, are major economic drivers for the city.

Between Bourbon & Beyond and Louder Than Life, about 375,000 fans are expected to attend the festivals, book hotel rooms, eat in local restaurants and enjoy additional entertainment options throughout Louisville. The two festivals are projected to have a local economic impact of roughly $33.5 million.
