Breaking Down the ‘Selling Sunset’ Cast’s Latest Drama

Selling Sunset is about to drop its eighth season, and the cast is making it more than clear that it’ll be the messiest installment yet. Things kicked off over the weekend, when Chrishell Stause and Chelsea Lazkani hopped on Instagram Stories with a series of posts taking aim at Nicole Young for some yet-to-be-revealed drama with Emma Hernan.

“Someone needs to take my phone bc 🤬😡😡😡🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬,” Chrishelle wrote. “Are we really still giving air time to LIARS that just want air time??”

Chrishell went on to say she’d “NEVER” work on a show with Nicole again and even called out production.

“Just know she spews a disgusting lie about a bestie that is categorically FALSE and SUPER damaging. It is NOT TRUE,” Chrishell wrote, adding, "@done_and_done_productions and you are disgusting for blindsiding her with this to see with the world instead of letting her at LEAST defend herself with the TRUTH.”

Meanwhile, Chelsea hopped on Insta to @ Nicole directly, saying, “@itsnicoleyoung you are the most diabolical piece of 🗑️ I’ve ever met, you wanna start a rumor about Emma because all the rumors about you are true. OK, let’s see how this works out for you…” She also accused production of lacking integrity—“spreading lies for views is so damaging”—and claimed that several cast members are homophobic and transphobic.

Meanwhile, Nicole reportedly hopped on Instagram with: “Instead of attacking me and accusing me of lying, I think you ladies need to ask your bestie some tough questions. Did she let you know she was directly confronted on camera at the season 7 finale by the wife’s best friend? Even still, I stated this info as a rumor. And given both of you have been the victim of extramarital affairs, I would think you too would stand for the sanctity of all marriages.”

Cut to Chrishell and Chelsea, who both jumped back on Instagram to throw some support behind Emma. “Love these girls so much!” Chrishell wrote. “The days of us being afraid of lies being told are over. We have receipts and voices. 🗣️♥️”

Meanwhile, Chelsea posted a photo of herself and Emma with the caption, “Protecting HER at all costs 💗”

And Chrishell commented, “HOW DO I LIKE THIS 5 MILLION TIMES?!?!!! Love you both so much. Of course she tried to ruin you in a sneak attack bc she would have been shown to be a LIAR AGAIN if given the chance to speak on it. What a weasel.”
