The nationwide chain, which changed its name from Dunkin' Donuts in 2018, specializes in doughnuts and coffee, and also offers a variety of different drinks, snacks and sandwiches.

Abbey Celeste, director or Marketing and Communication for Bapa Network LLC, a group which owns over 80 Dunkin' locations in the Northeast, said the new location is distinct due to updated technology and designs.

"The new Johnson City NextGen Dunkin' location features the latest technology to consistently deliver fan-favorite menu innovations," Celeste said in August. "The new location will offer guests a more modern design with premium beverages, creating an elevated in-restaurant and drive-thru experience, including a dedicated mobile pickup area allowing Dunkin’ Rewards loyalty members to order ahead and get in and out of the restaurant faster than ever before."

Earlier this summer, renovations were completed on a 211 Main St. Dunkin' location in Binghamton, which has since reopened.
