Bull riding, rock climbing and skimboarding. Here’s your guide to the Pierce County Fair

If you’re looking to ride on a mechanical bull, climb a rock tower or immerse yourself in virtual reality this weekend, the Pierce County Fair may be the place for you.

The fair runs from 10 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Aug. 8-10 and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Aug. 11 at 21710 Meridian Ave. E. in Graham.

For adults, admission is $8 online and $10 at the gate. For youth 6-15 and seniors 65 and up, tickets are $7 online and $8 at the gate. Children 5 and under get in free. Parking is $5.

Attendees can expect to see local musicians and other performers on the main and community stages. Bull riding, rock climbing and virtual reality are some of the amusements that will be available.

Puppy Pals Live, a show featuring adopted and rescued dogs that perform stunts, will be present each day. DB Skimboards will also be present all days, providing participants with a skimboard and a long pool of water to skim on.

Food vendors such as Flavorworks, Cookie Dough Delight and Manic Meatballs will be at the fair. Flavorworks specializes in Filipino and Hawaiian cuisine. Cookie Dough Delight will have edible cookie dough. Manic Meatballs serves Swedish meatballs.

La Chaparrita will also be at the fair with tacos, quesadillas and aguas frescas. Northwest Tropical Sno will have shaved ice. Southern Charm Espresso will have energy spritzers and cider, among other beverages.
