Cambridge woman injured in two-vehicle crash on U.S. 36; struck by Newcomerstown driver

COSHOCTON − The Coshocton County Sheriff's Office is investigating a two-vehicle crash that occurred shortly before 4 p.m. Saturday at the intersection of U.S. 36 and Ohio 621.

Authorities said Leah McMahon, 19, of Newcomerstown, was traveling westbound on U.S. 36 when she struck a vehicle being driven by Patricia Work, 59, of Cambridge, who was turning left onto U.S. 36 from Ohio 621. The two vehicles went through the intersection and came to rest in the eastbound lanes.

Work was extricated by mechanical means and transported by medical helicopter to Cleveland Clinic Akron General for treatment of undisclosed injuries. McMahon was treated at the scene. Assisting on scene were Coshocton County Emergency Medical Services, Three Rivers Fire District, Prince's Wrecker Service and REACT.
