This Central Pennsylvania corn maze is among the best in the country: USA Today readers

One of the best corn mazes in the nation is located in southcentral Pennsylvania, according to USA TODAY's 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards.

Cherry Crest Adventure Farm in Ronks, Lancaster County ranked second in the best corn maze category for the readers' choice awards. Treworgy Family Orchards in Levant, Maine came in first.

Cherry Crest Adventure Farm's corn maze theme this year is "Cattle on the Farm," according to its website.

Admission includes the 5-acre corn maze and more than 60 other activities, such as a wagon ride, pedal carts and a petting zoo.

Another corn maze in Pennsylvania also made the Top 10 list.

It is the Irons Mill Farmstead in New Wilmington in the western part of the state.

Oktoberfest in Reading makes Top 10 list

The Reading Liederkranz Oktoberfest placed fourth for best Oktoberfest in USA TODAY's 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards. It is a short drive from southcentral Pennsylvania.

Reading Liederkranz, a German-American social club, hosts the event, which features German dishes from schnitzels to brats. It also offers craft beer.

The Reading Liederkranz Oktoberfest will be held Wednesday, Oct. 2 through Sunday, Oct. 6 this year, according to the website.
