MLB's annual Home Run Derby is back to headline the 2024 All-Star Week schedule in Texas.

The 2024 All-Star Game is being held at the home of the defending World Series champion Texas Rangers in Arlington, Texas. But before the game between the National League and American League is a contest to see who can hit the most home runs.

The 2024 Home Run Derby consists of eight competitors, including Pete Alonso, Gunnar Henderson, Alec Bohm, Bobby Witt Jr., Marcell Ozuna, Jose Ramirez, Adolis Garcia and Teoscar Hernandez. Alonso is gunning to become the second player to ever win three Home Run Derbys, as he also won the event in 2019 and 2021. Alonso fell to Vladimir Guerrero Jr., who is not in this year's competition, in 2023.
