The NASCAR Cup Series regular season concludes on Sunday with the Cook Out Southern 500 at Darlington Raceway.

Sunday's race culminates a wild card race for an increasingly shrinking amount of open playoff spots. Martin Truex Jr., Ty Gibbs, Chris Buescher, Bubba Wallace and Ross Chastain all have different ways of getting to the same objective of getting to the playoffs, but only three playoff openings (at maximum) remains heading into the weekend.

Harrison Burton's unlikely victory last Saturday in Daytona took a playoff spot, and it'll be interesting to see how the No. 21 Wood Brothers Ford runs with more attention and a playoff run to look forward to this fall.
