During some of peak travel season last year (July through September), the average fare for a flight out of John Glenn Columbus International Airport was $382.75, according to data from the Bureau of Transportation Statistics.

For the entire year of 2023, the average air fare for Columbus was $396.08. 2024 data has not been released yet, but air fares might be even higher this year as some airlines expect record-setting travel demand this summer.

Despite these dire prices, it's still possible to fly several places round-trip from Columbus for less than $100 this summer.
