Check out upcoming ramp closures in Caddo Parish

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorist of several ramp closures that will affect traffic for the next couple of days.

According to the DOTD, I-49 southbound on-ramp to LA 3132 eastbound and I-49 northbound ramp from LA 3132 westbound will see construction starting Wednesday, June 26.

The southbound on-ramp will be closed Wednesday starting at 8 a.m. and will reopen about 3 p.m. On Thursday, the northbound ramp will be closed at 8 a.m. and will reopen about 3 p.m.

According to the DOTD, these closures are necessary for routine bridge inspections.

Motorist will be detoured through proper signage.

"DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment," DOTS said in the release.
